  • Look for grooms tuxedo & decide what groomsmen will wear.

1 - 0 Months Before:

  • Bridal gown fitting day, bring stockings, shoes, bra, a camera & your mom/friends.
  • Finalize ceremony readings & songs & a review with performers.
  • Order liquor & beverages if not handled by caterer.
  • Meet with all participants to finalize the ceremony, including attendant formations.
  • Begin writing your vows if applicable.
  • Begin writing thank-you notes for bridal shower & early wedding gifts.
  • Find out where to get your marriage license.
  • Prepare a photo & video shot list naming important family members & guests.
  • Schedule a bridesmaid' luncheon & buy attendant gifts if you haven't already.
  • Begin whitening your teeth for wedding (if applicable)day.

4 - 3 Weeks Before:

  • Finalize your jewellery (something old, new, borrowed & blue).
  • FPrepare a must-have photo shot list for the photographer.
  • Finalize your must-have & don't play music list for the DJ/ Band.
  • Practice, practice, practice your first dance in your wedding shoes.
  • Order your wedding programs if you haven't already.
  • Confirm honeymoon & travel arrangements.
  • Call guests who haven't RSVP'd.
  • Pick up your wedding rings & check them to make sure they're right.
  • Get your marriage license, no earlier than 30 days before the wedding.
  • Research how to change your last name (if applicable).
  • Mail your rehearsal dinner invitations.
  • Purchase small candles, candies, & mints for guest washrooms.
  • Meet with your hairstylist & test the perfect hair & makeup.

Day Before Wedding:

  • Prepare a list of payment envelopes.
  • Hand out assignment lists & checklist to ensure people know what their tasks are.
  • Gather together your wedding dress, accessories, & bridal emergency kit.
  • Get a manicure, pedicure & massage.
  • Rehearse ceremony with officiant & wedding party.

Your wedding day:

  • You may be nervous but try to eat breakfast & drink plenty of fluids.
  • Take a lavender bath - it's very relaxing.
  • Be sure to wear a button down shirt for your hair & makeup appointments.
  • Should things go wrong, don't panic ask for solutions & choose the best suited option.
